Bioderma Sensibio AR BB Cream - Review

I am absolutely in love with this BB Cream. Obsessed might even be the correct word. It is EVERYTHING.

Okay let me explain why i love it so much. I have some redness around my nose and my cheeks. I usually have to layer my foundation there or use a corrector to cover it. Yes that is a hassle to say the least.

This is where this BB Cream succeeds on all levels. It covers/corrects it with one very thin layer. I was shocked. It really evens out my skin tone unlike any other BB Cream i have tried.

I would describe the consistency as creamy, it does feel like a day cream when you get it out of the tube. I tend to apply this with my fingers, there is nothing wrong with that and it blends beautifully on the skin. Covers all the areas i need to cover and moisturizes the little dry patches i have without adding any moisture to my face. So there is no shiny face going on. If anything, it gives a nice, healthy and dewy finish. I set it with a tiny bit of powder but i don't think that it really needs it.

The only negative i have is, i wish it came in more shades. I have light and it seems very dark for the Irish skin. I can get away with it because i use a small amount and rub it in well but i think that very light skinned people might have a problem.

Over all, i love this and it has quickly turned into my go-to summer foundation. It is definitely a product i wouldn't want to miss.

NIVEA MEN Senstive Cool Skincare - Review

Yes i made my boyfriend try it and give me his feedback. It was not easy and after a lot of 'i don't know' and a lot of questions on my part, i got to the bottom of it.

In short, he loves that Cooling Post Shave Balm. He loved it so much that he actually has not used anything else since. His skin is smooth, soft and smells amazing but not too strong and definitely not like NIVEA. It has a subtle hint of perfume to it, i do like it too. *blushes and winks*

According to him "It doesn't burn at all." Which, lets face it is a plus. We all know that feeling of having shaved under our arms and spraying deodorant.... yep, i do it all the time and am not a fan. I can't imaging it on my face. Needless to say, he loves that part too.

The Cooling Shaving Gel. The boyfriend said that you only need the tiniest amount and that is works very well with the balm. It seems to last him forever, which is a miracle as he tends to go through shaving foam like a mad man.

Over all, the boyfriend really likes these products and i will be picking up more as soon as his are finished. For the price of €3.71 for the gel and around €6.00 for the balm, it is definitely not expensive and it makes the boyfriend not as grumpy about shaving. So worth it.

Wet 'n Wild Mega Last Lipstick Swatches

Okay, it might not be new to many of you but i personally have to admit that i never really gave Wet 'n Wild a second look. Call me a high-end makeup junkie but i just have so much makeup from other brands that i didn't think Wet 'n Wild can keep up with it.

I couldn't have been more wrong. These lipsticks are amazing and i have since gone out and purchased every colour i could get my hands on. Can we say obsessed? Yes, yes i am.

Not only do these come in gorgeous colours but the finish and staying power is amazing. I would describe the finish as satin. It didn't seem fully matte to me, even though i have seen a lot of people describe it as that. To me it is best comparable to the MAC satin finish, which i love. It is not drying at all. My lips still felt moisturised while wearing it.

The staying power is great, i wouldn't say they stay all day. Let's face it there aren't many lipsticks that actually do. But they did stay for a good few hours.

And what's better than that? They cost €2.99 and are available at Penneys and Dunnes Stores here in Ireland. Incredible price for a great, great lipstick. I wish there were many more colours available.

[These are just 5 of the available colours]

MAC Alluring Aquatic Swatch

Okay, okay... this is hardly anything new at this stage but how could i not share this? Look at it. It is stunning.

I am one of those people who doesn't go crazy about MAC limited editions these days. You won't find me ordering it or waiting in front the store just to make sure i can get my hands on something. It is just not me. I am rather underwhelmed but the things MAC has brought out lately. Might just be me.

But this collection is stunning. Absolutely stunning. The packaging is everything. Yes, i am easily impressed by that, which might be wrong. haha

But it was so pretty that i had to pick up two things. I got the Bronzer in Golden Refined, which is a permanent shade at MAC and i had to own one of the lipsticks. I decided to get Enchanted One from this collection which has a matte finish and it is stunning nude with orange/peach undertones. It's gorgeous and i couldn't leave it there. I haven't worn it yet but you can see the swatch i made for you guys. How stunning is that colour? I love it, almost as much as the packaging. haha

There are still some things available at Brown Thomas if you decide you want something i suggest you are quick, some things are already sold out and i am really not surprised.

Did any of you get anything from this collection? What did you get?
